To celebrate Diet Coke’s new “Get The Gang Back Together” campaign, TV treasure Holly Willoughby shared her secrets on friendship, travel and fashion at our exclusive launch event in London’s Mayfair.
Last month Diet Coke announced that Holly Willoughby will be adding an extra dose of fizz to Diet Coke activity in 2017. Best known for sharing a sofa with Phillip Schofield on ITV’s This Morning, Holly will be shining a light on campaigns celebrating female friendship throughout the year.
One of the bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms hosted the Diet Coke Glam Room, where guests relaxed while manicurists gave them beautiful nails to admire as they sipped their Diet Coke. A professional make-up artist also set up shop in the bathroom so guests could enjoy a makeover moment.
Looking glamourous in a sparkling sequin skirt, crisp white top and red heels, Holly added sparkle to the glitzy penthouse event as she chatted all things friendship, travel and fashion.
Holly is very excited about working with Diet Coke, she’s been a fan for a long time and celebrating female friendships is really important to her. “It’s easy for life to get in the way of seeing friends but whenever you do manage to meet up, it’s like no time has passed at all.”
Chatting with Holly is a friend of Diet Coke, the hugely popular make-up and fashion vlogger, Patricia Bright, whose YouTube channel has over 1 million subscribers.
Part of the Get The Gang Back Together campaign is a competition where you could win a luxurious penthouse stay for your group of friends across Europe, including the Penthouse the event is hosted in. So who would Holly bring to the Diet Coke penthouse?
Along with her sister and closest girlfriends, Holly chooses the rather eclectic mix of Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, Marilyn Monroe and Henry VIII. That guest list would definitely make for a sparkling evening!
Patricia asks Holly what she thinks are the top qualities for friendship. Keeping one another’s secrets and being the completely unfiltered ‘real’ you feature highly. It’s all about “sharing the lows and riding the highs” she says.
For a girls’ night in Holly’s essentials are Diet Coke, a good playlist with lots of ‘school disco’ 90s RnB, and of course, good friends. She wants to be able to chat without shouting over the noise so she’d put the music on low until it’s dancing time later on.

“What’s lovely about this campaign is, I would love to win it! I really want to come here with all my mates.” – Holly Willoughby
