Christmas cooking is great for sharing with the family. We’ve come up with a delicious cookie recipe using Coca-Cola Zero Sugar that everyone will love – watch our masterclass and try baking them at home.

For the cookies:

100g butter
100g sugar
200g honey
3 tablespoons Coca-Cola Zero Sugar
350g flour
8 tablespoons heaped soft whole grain rolled oats
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
3 tablespoons cocoa powder

For the icing:

200g icing sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons Coca-Cola Zero Sugar

Melt the honey, sugar and butter slowly in a small saucepan. When all the ingredients have melted and mixed, allow to cool, then stir in the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar.

In a mixing bowl, sift the rolled oats baking powder, cinnamon and cocoa. Stir with a wooden spoon.

Pour the contents of the saucepan into the bowl of dry ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon – then combine into a ball with your hands.

Cover the bowl with cling film and put in the fridge to chill for 30 minutes.

Once chilled, roll the dough out onto a floured surface to around half a centimetre thick.

Use your cookie cutters to cut out shapes and place these on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake your cookies at 175 degrees for approximately 13 minutes.

While they’re cooling, you can make the icing.

Mix the icing sugar, cinnamon and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar together until smooth.

Drizzle the icing over your cookies using a spoon, then sprinkle on your decorations.

Allow the icing to set before serving.
