Eligibility to enter / opening and closing dates
1. This promotion is open to residents of Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), Channel Islands and the Isle of Man only. Employees of
2. Entrants must be aged 16 years or over and under 18s require parental consent.
3. Internet access and personal Twitter or Instagram account required.
4. This promotion opens at 16.30pm on 25/07/2016 and closes at 23:59 on 08/08/2016. Any entries received after the closing date will not be valid and will not be entered into the draw.
5. There is no limit to the number of unique #mylifedistilled images you can enter, however entrants must not submit the same image more than once. Multiple entries of the same image will not be accepted and participants using multiple accounts circumvent this condition will be ineligible to enter. There will only be one winner selected and only one prize package available, you can only win one prize.
6. No purchase is necessary to enter this promotion.
How to enter
7. To enter this promotion, entrants must upload an image of the contents of their bag to their Twitter or Instagram accounts to @glaceau_sw accompanied by #mylifedistilled.
8. All photos must be created by the entrant themselves and must not infringe the copyright or other intellectual property rights of any third party. Any photos found to be copied will be disqualified. The entrant agrees not to assert any moral rights in relation to the use of the photo by the Promoter where the moral rights in respect of the photo are the entrants to assert, and procures that any moral rights of any third party will similarly not be asserted. The entrant further warrants that the materials submitted are his/her original works and have not been copied, in whole or in part, from any third party and the entrant has full authority to grant these rights.
9. Any submission containing the following content will not be permitted and the entrant will be disqualified:
• Any content which is distasteful or offensive, or is of a sexual nature.
• Content for the intended purpose of harassing, threatening or embarrassing individuals or multiple individuals.
• Content featuring any images which contain alcohol, tobacco products, drugs or any banned substances.
• Political parties, political messages or demonstrations.
• Blasphemous or religious imagery or any image deemed to incite religious hatred.
• Potentially defamatory or otherwise actionable material.
• Any image which infringes any copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
• The depiction of the assembly of explosive materials, firearms or items deemed to be weapons of any nature.
• The depiction of individuals' or companies' names, phone numbers, email or postal addresses, or any other personal information deemed sensitive, private and/or unacceptable by the promoter.
• Content sourced from commercial or third party libraries (e.g. Getty Images, Google images etc).
• Any content which is potentially defamatory or otherwise actionable.
• Any content the Promoter in its sole discretion considers it would be inappropriate to use.
Selecting the winner(s)
10. A panel of judges (including at least one independent member) will select 1 winner on 11/08/2016 from all valid entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions. When selecting the winner, the judges will base their decision on which entries feature creativity, originality, composition, and relevant content. Example entries can be found at http://www.instagram.com/glaceau_sw and http://www.twitter.com/glaceau_sw. The names of the judges will be made available on request to those who email firstname.lastname@example.org within three months after the closing date of this promotion.
11. The winner will receive: 1 x prize pack that includes a case of 12 x 850ml smartwater sportscap bottles, a pair of white Nike Air Force 1 trainers in the winner’s chosen size and an instant lab universal camera by the Impossible Project plus 3 packs of film.
12. This competition is not run in association with either Nike or The Impossible Project. This competition is not intended to suggest any endorsement or connection between glaceau smartwater and either Nike or The Impossible Project.
Notification and delivery of the prize
13. The winner will be contacted via twitter or Instagram direct message (dependent on where their entry was uploaded) within 7 working days of being selected, using the contact details provided on entry to this promotion.
14. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner. However, if a winner has not responded to notification within 7 workings days or if a selected winner is ineligible, otherwise in breach of these terms and conditions, or unable to take up the prize for any other reason, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner using the same process referred to above in these terms and conditions.
15. The prizes will be dispatched to the winner by post within 28 days of the promotion closing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for failed delivery due to provision of incorrect contact details by entrants. Any prize that is returned undelivered will be assumed unwanted and the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner to receive the prize using the same process referred to above in these terms and conditions.
16. The winner is responsible for all expenses not expressly stated in these terms and conditions as being included as part of the prize.
17. Incomplete, illegible, corrupted entries, or those which are otherwise not in accordance with these terms and conditions will not be valid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for failure to receive an entry where such failure is due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s control.
18. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Twitter. Any information you provide as part of this promotion is provided to the Promoter and not to Instagram or Twitter. Entrants to this promotion hereby release Instagram or Twitter from any claim or liability suffered in connection with this promotion.
19. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be sold or auctioned. No cash or other alternative to a prize will be offered save for in the event of unforeseen circumstances, in which the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value than the original.
20. The Promoter and its agents will only use personal information supplied by entrants to this promotion for the purposes of administering this promotion, unless consent is received to use such information for any other purpose.
21. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, or of the spirit of this promotion, the Promoter may at its sole discretion refuse to accept an entry.
22. The Promoter’s decision is binding in all matters relating to this promotion, and no correspondence shall be entered into.
23. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no liability for any damage, loss or injury suffered due to entering this promotion or taking up a prize.
24. By entering this promotion, entrants will be deemed to have accepted, and will be bound by, these terms and conditions.
25. Entrants will retain ownership of any content, submissions and other material they submit as part of this Promotion. However, entrants grant the promoter (and its agents and affiliates) a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to use any such content, submissions and other material for the purposes of this promotion.
26. The name of the winner will be made available on request at email@example.com after 31/09/2016
27. Winners may be required to take part in publicity relating to this promotion.
28. These terms and conditions (and any non-contractual disputes/claims which arise out of or in connection with them) will be governed by English law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
