This delicious apple crisp dessert is sweetened with stevia. Give the recipe a go, and let us know what you think!


Apple mixture:

  • 470g of apples, cored, peeled and sliced
  • 118ml of water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. tabletop stevia
  • 2 tbs all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

Oat topping:

  • 90g rolled outs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. tabletop stevia
  • 30g all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 58g butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tbs. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/8 tsp. salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C.
  2. Place apple slices in a large bowl and sprinkle with water, stevia, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Toss evenly to coat the apples.
  3. Spray a 9-inch square baking dish with cooking spray and arrange apple mixture in the bottom of the pan.
  4. In a separate, small bowl combine oats, stevia, flour, flour, cinnamon, butter, brown sugar and salt. Stir until the mixture is crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly on top of the apples in the baking dish.
  6. Place baking dish in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, until the apples are bubbly and the crisp is golden.
  7. Serve warm, room temperature or cold.
