The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) have set ambitious targets to ensure London 2012 is a truly sustainable event. As a Worldwide Partner of the Olympic Movement, Coca-Cola has an important role to play in helping to deliver that vision.

We want to use our sponsorship of London 2012 to make a positive difference in the UK which will last long after the Games is over. Already, our involvement with the Games is focusing our efforts to become a more sustainable business here in Britain.

Based on our Live Positively sustainability framework, we have three objectives for our London 2012 sponsorship activity:

We have consulted the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) on the environmental aspects of our London 2012 sustainability programme, and have listened carefully to their feedback.
