The much loved Coca-Cola variant makes a return for 2013
"There has been huge consumer demand for the return of Vanilla Coke so we were really excited about bringing back the variant to the Coca-Cola family. It’s the product that consumers ask us to re-introduce most frequently and we’re excited to be able to do so, whilst marking the tenth anniversary of flavours. We’re glad consumers are able to enjoy their favourite refreshing Coca-Cola taste with a hint of vanilla again." Zoe Howorth, Marketing Director for Coca-Cola Great Britain
The re-introduction of Vanilla Coke will be supported by a targeted communications plan consisting of print advertising, outdoor media and in-store activity to drive consumer awareness. Coca‑Cola Great Britain has also identified Vanilla Coke “superfans” ahead of the official launch, through the use of social media tools.
As a company that is dedicated to rewarding its customers, the Vanilla Coke “superfans” were offered the ultimate reward of receiving the drink before it hit the shelves. The comeback of Vanilla Coke, the nation’s favourite Coca‑Cola flavoured drink, marks an exciting moment for the brand and meeting consumer demands for great, refreshing drinks.
