Coca-Cola and singer/songwriter Rita Ora teamed up today to celebrate the launch of the new and improved Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. The star and Coca-Cola fan opened the doors to the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Taste Lounge to give fans an exclusive taste of the new drink.
The opening marks the launch of the new and improved Coca-Cola Zero Sugar which ‘tastes more like Coke and looks more like Coke’ but without the sugar. The new recipe has been created to taste even more like Coca-Cola Classic to encourage Coca-Cola Classic fans to give it a try. Alongside the new recipe, the drink also has a new look and features the iconic Coca-Cola red disc.
Rita Ora commented: “I’ve always been a huge Coca-Cola fan so I’m happy that there’s now a Coca-Cola that tastes just as good as the classic but without the sugar. If you’re like me and love the original Coca-Cola but want to enjoy it without the sugar then this is perfect for you.”
The Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Taste Lounge in Central London will offer people the opportunity to experience Coca-Cola Zero Sugar in an exciting sensory experience specially designed as the perfect setting to enjoy the new drink. A series of zones designed to ignite the senses; from the stunning halo effect bar, to a refreshing soundscape reflecting the unique sounds of the perfect serve of Coke and a series of spectacular visual displays depicting the bubbles and liquid that combine to create the iconic Coke experience.

Through years of work we’ve been able to get closer than ever before to the taste of Coca-Cola Classic and we’re really pleased with the finished result. We hope the great new taste will encourage fans to give it a go and try their favourite soft drink without sugar.”
The launch is the company’s biggest product launch in a decade and is backed by a £10 million brand campaign featuring TV and print advertising. As part of the campaign 4.5 million free samples of Coca-Cola Zero will be given away across the UK this summer.
The Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Taste lounge is open from 11am – 6pm 7-9 July 2016 at 7 Rathbone Place, London W1T 1HN.
