Gundeep Anand, a 22 year old football coach from Ealing in west London, has been chosen as one of six young people to be featured in a poster campaign that celebrates the contributions of inspirational young people to sport in their local areas.

Coca‑Cola has teamed up with StreetGames, the charity that provides access to doorstep sport for young people in disadvantaged communities around the UK, to shine a light on the positive difference young people make to local StreetGames programmes.

Gundeep is a football player and coach at Lambeth’s Lilian Baylis Old School and in the past year and a half has completed both football and handball coaching qualifications. He now leads his own training sessions, and has so far coached more than 1,000 children.

" Being part of StreetGames has really helped me develop as a person and given me opportunities I wouldn’t otherwise have had. With the qualifications StreetGames has helped me achieve I hope to go on to pursue my ambition of being a full time coach." Gundeep Anand

Gundeep’s billboard, on display at the Marylebone Flyover from 1st August, is one of a series of six that will be displayed across the UK to coincide with this summer’s series of special StreetGames festivals. The other cities taking part in the poster campaign and running events are Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol and Cardiff.
