Birmingham’s inspirational gymnast
Coca‑Cola and StreetGames pick Charlie from Stechford to star on giant local billboard

13 year old Charlie Biddle, a young gymnast from Stechford in Birmigham, has been chosen to star in a poster campaign celebrating Coca‑Cola’s partnership with StreetGames, the charity that provides doorstep access to sport for young people in disadvantaged communities around the UK.
Charlie was picked as the face of the poster for Birmingham because of her outstanding commitment to her local StreetGames programme at the Shard End Project Kingfisher Centre. Over the past five years she’s made a positive contribution to sport in her neighbourhood, taking part in StreetGames sessions including football, kick-boxing and gymnastics and competing regularly in gymnastics competitions.
Birmingham StreetGames programmes in action
" I’ve been going to StreetGames for the last five years and it’s given me the chance to try so many different sports. I love gymnastics and with the confidence StreetGames has given me I hope to one day reach the Olympics." Charlie Biddle
In the style of an elite professional athlete, Charlie will take centre stage on a giant billboard donated by Coca‑Cola and on display at the Aston Lock Expressway from 1st August. Her billboard is one of a series of six which will be launched across the UK to coincide with a series of special StreetGames festivals that will be taking place this summer and autumn. The other cities participating in the poster campaign and running festival events are London, Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol and Cardiff.
