How is Coca‑Cola encouraging active, healthy lifestyles through its Olympic Games sponsorship?

Coca-Cola is using its sponsorship the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to encourage consumers to lead more active, healthy and sustainable lifestyles.

We have a long history of supporting sport at all levels, and our three year partnership with national charity StreetGames will bring sport to 110,000 young people throughout the country with a focus on deprived areas.

Also, we believe in providing choice and enabling people to make informed decisions. At London 2012, we will offer the widest range of drinks ever offered at an Olympic and Paralympic Games, and we anticipate that 75% of the drinks we sell (by volume) will be sugar-free, water or juice.

All of our drinks can be enjoyed as part of an active lifestyle and balanced diet, which is why all our carbonated soft drinks plus Powerade and Glaceau Vitamin Water products will carry Guideline Daily Amount (GDA) information.
