How much caffeine is in Diet Coke, Coca‑Cola and Coke Zero?

People often think our drinks contain high amounts of caffeine, but in fact there is only 96mg of caffeine in one litre of Coke Zero or Coca‑Cola and 128mg in a litre of Diet Coke. This equates to about 32mg in a 330ml can of Coca‑Cola and 42mg in a 330ml can of Diet Coke. To help put this in context, a mug of tea contains about 75mg of caffeine and a mug of coffee provides about 100mg of caffeine.

So the levels of caffeine in Coca‑Cola are actually relatively low in comparison to other drinks. But if you want to avoid caffeine or reduce your intake, try Caffeine-Free Diet Coke or one of our other caffeine-free sparkling brands, such as Fanta, Sprite or Lilt.

To help you can make an informed choice about our drinks, we ensure that full nutritional information is clearly displayed on our packaging and also available on our website.
