Sustainability is at the heart of the way
Our bottling partner,
We're also looking at packaging, as this represents around 52% of our carbon footprint: we focus on reducing the amount of packaging material we use (by making our bottles and cans lighter); using recycled and renewable materials and encouraging everyone to recycle their soft drinks packaging more often.
For example, we use an average of 25 per cent recycled material in all our plastic bottles, our glass bottles contain 37 per cent recycled glass and our cans 50 per cent recycled aluminium. Our glaceau smartwater bottles also contain PlantBottle™ packaging, which is 100 per cent recyclable and made with up to 30% renewable plant materials, reducing our reliance on fossil fuels for plastics.
