Big Apple beginnings
glaceau vitaminwater was created in New York in 1996 by entrepreneur Darius Bikoff when he was on his way to a yoga class. Feeling run down, he took a vitamin C wafer and a swig of water – and the combination sparked the idea for the drink.
Reducing the calories
In Great Britain, we reformulated our glaceau vitaminwater range in 2012, using our zero-calorie stevia sweetener. By combining stevia extract with sugars, we’ve been able to reduce the sugar and calorie levels of the range by 30 per cent.
