A new interactive video encourages applause and support for Special Olympic athletes
Coca‑Cola’s links with the Special Olympics go back over 40 years, and as part of our partnership we work closely with Special Olympics GB, the charity that runs the events in this country.
This month, the organisation have launched a new interactive video, called ‘Encouragement’, illustrating how positive support helps people with learning disabilities transform their lives through sport:
The video was filmed at Wembley Arena and shows Omar Haddad, a Special Olympics athlete from Widnes, preparing for and performing a gymnastics routine.

Click here to see the video and use the volume slider to control the level of encouragement Omar receives from the crowd. If enough encouragement is built up, Omar is empowered to perform his routine.
